Bento Sushi is the second-largest sushi brand in North America. It provides high-quality, ready-to-eat sushi as well as heat and eat Asian food. Bento Sushi capitalizes on the Asian food trend and the convenience dining market. They categorize the food they sell into three types: ● Sushi products under the Bento Sushi brand ● Sushi rolls and rice bowls which are sold in Bento Express packaging, available in supermarkets and convenience stores across North America ● Sushi seasoning, tools, and ingredients for preparing your own sushi at home, part of their Bento At Home line. The company prides itself on using fresh and responsibly sourced ingredients, providing competitive and relevant training programs, continuous improvement on its product line-up, and ongoing research and development towards new products. As Canada’s biggest sushi company, Bento Sushi employs a network of over 2,000 sushi chefs who help them prepare fresh food across their 930 locations. Every year, they prepare around 24 million servings of sushi. Franchisees benefit from extensive training with sushi experts, access to the company’s recipes, quality assurance manuals, and best practices as well as their national distribution and supply chain system. They also receive assistance in the design of new locations as well as product development and marketing support.
